Hanging pieces can be mounted indoor or out, with plenty of space, out of reach of children, but within your reach as you will need to take it down during excessive winds. They will last longer if it is not exposed to daily sunlight, though they are built to be somewhat durable and weather resistant. If yours succombs to the weather or doesn't last as long as you wanted it to, please get in contact with me. I'm happy to fix them up.
